RET Pro version 1.2.38 is now available for Download!
A big Thank You to those of you who beta tested version 1.2.37 over the past 24 hours. The new code with the following improvements worked just fine.
- The case of the disappearing SWOP setups should now be solved.
- Late entry signals should now happen much less frequently.
- Rather than simply using the BreakOut price as the theoretical entry price, SWOP is now using the current market price when the notification first appears in SWOP. This should result in more accurate PL statistics.
- Columns in SWOP and SWOP History have been neatened up a little. To display all available columns, select VIEW | MORE/FEWER COLUMNS from the menu in the SWOP window.
- SWOP History now defaults to the most recent four months only. You can, of course, manually change the start and end dates. This change will speed up the SWOP init routine.
- We’ve reduced clutter on the charts by removing S2, T2 and T3. These values are still available in the Mouse-Over popup window.
We’ve included this new code with a new general release version – 1.2.38 – which has the following two improvements:
Bandwidth Saver
If the SWOP performance is high and there is no need for additional processing, your Scanner will be turned off for a period of time to reduce bandwidth issues.
- Fairer Usage of SWOP Market Types:
The SWOP market types (US Stocks, Forex, Australian Stocks etc), are now linked directly to your eSignal subscription. Whatever markets you have subscribed to – and therefore able to contribute to – will be automatically enabled for viewing.
Consequently, disabled market types on the SWOP window are disabled because you have not subscribed to that market from eSignal.
You may wish to make some adjustments to your eSignal subscription in order to see - and contribute to - those markets you are interested in trading:
- US Stocks: Subscribe to AMEX, NYSE and NASD. Cost: $2 USD per month each
- FOREX: Subscribe to Forex and Precious Metals. Cost: $50 USD per month
- Australian Stocks: Subscribe to the ASX. Cost: $45 USD per month
- European Stocks: We are in the process of finalizing a package deal, which should be available soon.
Note 1: eSignal includes US Indices in the base subscription.
Note 2: We have discontinued the Treasuries market type because of the high eSignal subscription cost and the relatively few tradable markets in that group.
Note 3: Exchange Traded Funds are now included in the US Stocks market type.
To change your eSignal subscription, go to www.eSignal.com and select SUPPORT then ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE. Once logged in, select ADD/CANCEL ADD ON SERVICES under the SERVICES heading. You can then change your market type selections as required.
